Today, June 17th, 2026, we’re closing Postful for good.
We built it to help small business owners turn the work they already do into social posts. You’re already writing, building, and talking to customers, so the idea was to make turning that into marketing as painless as possible.
It worked. Just not the way we hoped.
The more we talked to the folks using it, small business owners, start-up founders, people wearing every hat in their business, the more we heard the same thing. They didn’t want another tool. Even a simple, fast one. A tool is still a task. It’s one more login, one more thing nagging at you at the end of a long day.
What they wanted was simpler than any feature we could build. They wanted the growth work done for them. Not made easier. Done. So they could get back to running the business.
That’s a hard thing to learn about something you made. But once we saw it, we couldn’t unsee it. Making the work faster doesn’t help much when the real problem is that the work exists at all.
So we’re closing Postful and putting what we learned into Solo Grow, a managed marketing service that handles your growth so you don’t have to. We’re starting with social and blog campaigns, and we’ll add newsletters, commenting, direct messages, and more from there.
To everyone who used Postful, sent us feedback, or just cheered us on: thank you. We’re not done, and you’re a big part of why.
You don’t have to do anything. After today, Postful won’t be available.
If you still want help growing your business without doing it all yourself, come see what we’ve built with Solo Grow.
